European session end mixed head of ECB meeting tomorrow

It was a mixed bag for European markets this afternoon as the traders digest a plethora of mixed earnings data. Both the FTSE 100 and Stoxx 600 is set to close relatively flat; but see-sawing between positive and negative territory as bulls and bears struggle for a breakout.
However, the CAC and the DAX is set to closer higher up 0.40% and 0.80% respectively. The market uncertainly comes off the back of ECB meeting tomorrow, with many anticipating further QE. The ECB meeting will be held in Malta at 12:45 BST and the topic is whether the Central Bank will increase the $1.1 trillion bond-buying program. If the ECB do decided to increase QE, this will likely prove support of equity  markets tomorrow afternoon.
